Volunteered at the CARES Inclusive Art Event

On November 3rd, 2024, members Elissa, Emily, Eric and Kevin volunteered at the CARES Inclusive Art Event in Bellevue, a fun, interactive, and creative-based event for special-needs kids.

They undertook a variety of deeds including preparation, organization, drawing, check-ins, fundraising, and more. Elissa and Emily helped organize and prepare art materials, draw coloring sheets for kids to use, maintain a positive learning environment for them, and helped with clean up. Kevin and Eric helped set up stations and facilities, recording attendance, running the reception and information station, managing donations, and cleaned. This event has provided a great opportunity to learn how to interact with different people and cater to their respective needs. Our members acknowledge this event as a crucial stepping-stone towards our qualities as a group as a whole, helping us further our communication and teamwork skills.

Our members Elissa, Emily, Eric and Kevin all volunteered from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm（4 hours), contributing a total of 16 volunteer hours.
