Sammamish Habitat Restoration Project

Join the City of Sammamish for Habitat Restoration! Be part of meaningful environmental action by helping restore native habitats in Sammamish. You'll contribute by:

• Removing invasive plant species

• Planting native trees and vegetation

• Supporting local wildlife and biodiversity

Give back to the community, learn about native plants, and help create a thriving ecosystem for generations to come!

Empowering vibrant, inclusive neighborhoods by addressing a diverse range of local community and social needs. We support and uplift events across many categories, including:

Community Cleanup Project

This May, we launched the Community Cleanup Project under the Hometown Sammamish Youth Action Group. As part of this initiative, we will organize a series of cleanup events in city parks, lakes, public spaces, and communities that need attention. We believe this project will contribute to reducing pollution, protecting wildlife, preserving the natural beauty of our surroundings, and fostering a greater sense of environmental responsibility.
