On July 25th, 2026, our team members Eric Huang, Elissa Song, Kevin Chen, Yufei Ye, Jiayi Zhu, Kerui Xu, Anthony Cao and Arjun Rammohan volunteered at the Redmond Derby Days from 2:00 to 6:30 PM.

Redmond Derby Days is the City of Redmond’s largest annual community festival, featuring live entertainment, delicious food, local vendors, and family-friendly activities. The event attracts thousands of visitors from Redmond and neighboring communities each year.

During this event, our volunteer team was responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the festival grounds. Our duties included picking up litter throughout the venue, replacing full trash bins with empty ones, transporting filled bins to the designated waste collection area, and ensuring that waste disposal stations remained clean and functional throughout the day. Also, volunteers managed parking passes and cars in two different parking lots.

Through our dedication and teamwork, we helped provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment where attendees could comfortably enjoy the food, entertainment, and festivities.
