About

Emily Qi is a sophomore at Eastlake High School. She is an active member of DECA, Science National Honor Society (SNHS), and Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) at her school. Additionally, Emily is involved in the University of Washington’s Youth Advisory Board, where she works with PhD students, researchers, and professors on research projects. Outside of academics, Emily enjoys spending time with her friends and family and playing piano. She has attended multiple renowned music festivals such as Piano Loop Academy in Croatia and Boston University Tanglewood Institute’s Young Artists Piano Program (YAPP). Some of her most recent accomplishments are winning the Music Teacher National Association competition and Nashville International Piano Competition, receiving bronze at the MostArts Festival in New York, and being a finalist at the Ettlingen International Competition in Germany.
